MIG & TIG Welder

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:

We are looking for MIG & TIG Welders for a permanent position based with our client in Gainsborough.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview and weld test)

Rate of pay £16.35 per hour.

This will be working Monday to Wednesday 2:30pm to 1am and Thursdays 2:30pm to 12:30am

You will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to engineering drawings and company quality standards, working primarily with stainless steel and mild steel.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.
Produce high-quality welds to the required standards.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
Work effectively as part of a busy production team.
Meet production targets while maintaining excellent workmanship.Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience welding stainless steel is essential.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude, reliability and excellent timekeeping.
Willingness to work overtime when required.NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication and Welding would be expected.
