Are you an experienced Welder Fabricator looking for a stable, long-term position with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business?

We are currently looking for a skilled MIG & TIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy workshop in Birmingham.

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and is looking for a permanent role with a company that can offer long-term stability and progression.

The Role

As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabricated and welded components from drawings and specifications.

Your duties will include:

MIG welding mild and stainless steel
TIG welding where required
Fabrication and assembly of components
Working from engineering drawings
Measuring, marking out and cutting materials
Using workshop machinery and hand tools
Ensuring all work meets required quality standards
Carrying out finishing and dressing of welded components
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

️ The Person

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience in a Welder Fabricator position
Strong MIG welding skills
TIG welding experience
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Good fabrication and fitting skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A reliable and hardworking attitude
