MIG / MAG Welder

My client are looking for a number of experienced MIG/ MAG Welders to join a leading client in medium to heavy engineering for the defence and Nuclear sector.

The ideal candidate will be able to use their own Initiative and read drawings. Experience needed in MAG /MIG welding, predominately stainless steel but some mild steel and aluminium experience would be advantageous. Use of related fabrication machinery such as break press, guillotine and rollers will be required.

The Ideal Candidate:

* 3 years prior experience fabricating machinery and welding

* Experience of welding using MAG/MIG

* Experience of working within heavy manurfacturing

* Ideally NVQ Level 2 and above or time served.

* Self-motivated and high energy

* Ability to work within a team

* Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities
