MIG Welder

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our long-standing manufacturing client with their search for a MIG Welder.

Key Duties:

• Fabricate steel components.
• Carry out MIG welding.
• Work with stainless steel sheet metal.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings with precision.
• Operate independently or as part of a team to complete assigned work

Key Requirements:

• Time-served Fabricator.
• Proven experience in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage workload effectively.

The Package:

• Salary Dependent on experience:
• • Jig welding/ low experience - £13.47 p/hr
  • Non-jig welding/ experienced - £14.83 p/hr
  • Specialist welding / highly experienced - £16.57 p/hr
• Hours are 37.5 p/wk. Mainly 07.30-4.30 M-Th and 07.30-11 Fri. Some shifts with customer demand may revert to 6-2 or 2-10 though this is atypical. Shift premiums would be added onto basic rate.
