The Role & Rewards

Job Title: Welder

Job Type: 12 month fixed term contract

Pay Rate and Working Hours:

Days £18.17 per hour this will increase to £18.97 from Jan 1st

Backs £21.80 per hour this will increase to £22.76 from Jan 1st

Night £23.207 per hour this will increase to £24.09 from Jan 1st

OT 1.5 £27.26 this will increase to £28.46 from Jan 1st
OT 2.0 £36.34 this will increase to £37.94 from Jan 1st

Three shift pattern, but you must be flexible to work any shift. Some shifts may rotate so flexibility is required.

DAYS: 06:45am - 15:00pm(Mon - Thur) 6.45am - 12.45pm (Fri)

BACKS: 14:45pm - 23:00pm (Mon - Thur) 10.45am - 16.45pm (Fri)

NIGHTS: 22:45pm - 07:00am (Mon - Thur) 16.30am - 22.30pm (Fri)

Your Expertise (Requirements)

Time Served MIG Welder
Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification
Previous professional experience in MIG Welding

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Working on build/weld fixtures to tight tolerances (Jig work).
Carrying out manual lifting and using overhead cranes.
Adhering strictly to standard work procedures, housekeeping, and PPE standards.
Working confidently both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
