MIG Welder

Wild Recruitment are seeking a MIG Welder to join our clients department Metalwork Department. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced welders and newly qualified candidates looking to develop their skills within a supportive manufacturing environment.

The Role

As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components while working from technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and within agreed timescales. Full training and support will be provided to help candidates develop their welding capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out MIG welding to a high standard.
Manufacture, weld and complete components from detailed drawings.
Complete work within set production deadlines.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Report any health & safety, equipment or quality concerns.
Clean and maintain machinery and tools.
Comply with all health & safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
Support other factory departments when required.Requirements

Relevant welding qualification and/or practical welding experience.
Candidates currently undertaking welding training are encouraged to apply.
Manufacturing environment experience is desirable.
Ability to read measurements and understand production paperwork.
Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Experience using machinery and hand power tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to learn new skills and work overtime when required.Pay & Benefits

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 12:30pm
