About the role

Join us in a pivotal role where you’ll help uphold fairness, integrity and professional standards by leading and supporting the full range of misconduct processes across the organisation.

  • Lead and manage meaningful misconduct proceedings

Take ownership of misconduct cases from start to finish, ensuring every meeting and hearing is handled with fairness, professionalism and care. You’ll support participants, guide the process, and help maintain confidence in standards across the organisation — all while managing a varied and fast‑moving caseload.

  • Ensure the highest quality of case files and evidence

Champion accuracy by reviewing misconduct bundles, checking evidence, and supporting Investigating Officers to produce clear, complete and compliant case material that stands up to scrutiny.

  • Build strong partnerships with legal counsel and key stakeholders

Work collaboratively with legal teams, defence representatives, staff associations and the IOPC. You’ll coordinate case preparation, manage disclosure and help ensure the organisation meets its statutory responsibilities with confidence and professionalism.

Please be aware that this role involves travel across the county to police sites and hearing venues that are not accessible by public transport, so access to a reliable vehicle is essential.
