Mixed Tax Manager

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Mixed Tax Manager to join a growing firm of Accountants based near Silsden.

This firm offer a range of services to their clients, and you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of businesses, ensuring your work is varied and interesting.

As a Mixed Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Providing expert advice on tax planning strategies to optimise clients’ financial positions.
• Analysing financial statements and reports to identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Dealing with HMRC enquiry letters as and when they arise.
• Collaborating with other departments to integrate tax strategies into overall business plans.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients.
• Mentor and develop junior staff members within the tax department.
• Liaise with HMRC, clients and regulatory bodies as necessary.

To qualify for this Mixed Tax Manager position, ideally you will meet the following:

• Experience working as a Mixed Tax Senior / Mixed Tax Manager in an Accountancy Firm.
• Strong knowledge of tax legislation.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• ACA, ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualified is desirable.
