Mobile Caretaker – Cambridge (Full-Time, Permanent)

Shift: Mon - Friday 07:30 till 16:00pm

Hyperion Partners are working exclusively with a respected property management client to recruit a reliable and proactive Mobile Caretaker to join their growing team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys being on the move.

As a Mobile Caretaker, you’ll be responsible for carrying out day-to-day caretaking and light maintenance duties across a portfolio of residential sites. You’ll be travelling between locations, supporting the upkeep of communal areas, responding to reactive issues, and ensuring the sites are clean, safe, and well presented at all times.

• General cleaning of communal areas (stairs, lobbies, bin stores, etc.)

• Basic maintenance and repairs (e.g. replacing lightbulbs, minor plumbing, painting touch-ups)

• Reporting major repairs and safety hazards to the management team

• Site inspections and checks, including fire alarm and emergency lighting tests

• Removal of rubbish, litter picking, and ensuring bin areas are tidy

• Providing excellent customer service when engaging with residents

• Supporting contractors and allowing access to site when required

• Keeping accurate records of tasks completed and issues identified

• Previous experience in a similar caretaking, maintenance, or facilities role

• Comfortable with light manual work and working independently

• Friendly, reliable, and proactive attitude

• Good communication and record-keeping skills

• MUST HAVE Gardening experience.

• Must Have a Full UK driving licence essential (mileage/travel allowance provided)

• Basic tools and equipment knowledge preferred (training can be provided)
