Mobile Fleet Engineer

About the Role:

Due to vast company growth Sapphire Utility Solutions - as now part of the Lanes Group are looking for an experienced Mobile Fleet Engineer to join our growing and thriving Fleet team. Our dedicated Fleet department now work to service and ensure smooth running of a large fleet of vehicles such as HGVs, Vaccumation Combination units, etc. 

Location: Andover based covering the South of England. A company vehicle will be provided.

Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Overtime: Paid at x1.5 

Responsibilities - but not limited to:

• Attending company depots conducting routine repairs and servicing of all group assets.


• Attending fleet breakdowns to carry out any new defect or running repairs


• On site diagnostic and fault finding


• On site plant and vehicle appraisals
  

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

• NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle repair is desirable but not essential


• Experience working with tanker equipment - Whale/Bucher/Muller etc 


• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points


• HGV 2 Licence 


• Flexibility - Hours of work may vary due to business needs, on call services and nights away required.
