Mobile Forklift Engineer - Wellingborough

Job title: Forklift Engineer
Location: Wellingborough and surrounding areas
Basic Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
OTE: £45,000 - £51,500+

We are recruiting for a Field Based Engineer to join a busy team based in Wellingborough.
 
Due to an increase in workload, the successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of equipment across a fleet of brands.

You'll work across a range of leading forklift and materials handling brands, including Yale, Hyster, JCB, Combilift and Aisle-Master.

Daily responsibilities:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment.
Working on scissor lifts, reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and engineering issues.
Travelling to customer sites to complete planned and reactive work.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Completing relevant service and maintenance documentation.
Participating in an on-call rota when required, with volunteers sought where possible.
Experience you will need:
Experience as a Forklift engineer or agricultural technician
Proven experience of servicing, maintaining & repairing diesel engines
Confident working with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic equipment
Full UK driving licence
Package:
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Basic salary: £35,000 - £40,000
OTE: £45,000 - £51,500+ (based on 5 hours overtime a week)  
Overtime paid at 1.3x Monday-Friday, 1.5x Saturday and 2x Sunday.
Company van and fuel card.
Door-to-door pay.
23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
2-week Christmas shutdown.
Company tablet and Work phone.
Occasional on-call allowance/rota.
