Job Description - Mobile Generator Engineer

Job Title: Mobile Generator Engineer
Location: Leeds
Money: £38,000 – £45,000 + Bonus Scheme
Schedule: Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Overtime: Paid at time and a half

Are you an experienced Generator Engineer seeking a stable, long-term Mobile role with no weekend work and great benefits? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our friendly and professional team.

Mobile Generator Engineer – Benefits:

Mobile Generator Engineer – Job Role:

Service, maintain, and repair a range of diesel generators
Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, electrical, and fuel system repairs in a workshop environment
Conduct inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and compliant
Prepare generators for hire or dispatch
Accurately complete job cards, service records, and other relevant documentation

Mobile Generator Engineer – Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or equivalent (desirable)
Previous experience working on generators or similar mechanical/electrical equipment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of diesel engine and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
