Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

We are an established environmental services company committed to protecting the environment through sustainable waste management and expert technical services.

We're looking for a chemistry graduate or someone with a strong background in chemical handling to join our technical services team. In this field-based role, you'll visit industrial, laboratory, and educational sites across the South East to identify, classify, and safely pack hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals for compliant transport and disposal.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who:

• Wants to apply their chemical knowledge in the real world

• Enjoys being hands-on and mobile rather than desk-based

• Is passionate about environmental protection and chemical safety

• Travel to client sites to identify and categorise waste chemicals

• Accurately list chemicals and complete associated documentation

• Safely pack chemicals in accordance with ADR transport regulations

• Drive a company-provided vehicle to transport collected waste materials to licensed facilities

• Ensure full compliance with environmental and transport legislation

• Communicate with customers, internal teams and external waste partners

• Promote safe handling and sustainable practices

• Degree in Chemistry or a related science (or equivalent experience)

• Full UK driving licence

• Strong knowledge of chemicals with associated risks and hazards

• Comfortable working independently and in a mobile role

• Knowledge of hazardous waste, COSHH, or ADR regulations desirable - (training provided)

• Motivated by safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility
