Mobile HVAC Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: Client is in Wakefield, but you need to travel for 9 months to belfast for the project later can work in wakefield only.

The company is seeking experienced HVAC Engineers to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on a variety of national contracts. A significant part of this role will be dedicated to a new project at Belfast International Airport, which requires a specific travel schedule.

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems on commercial and industrial properties.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in HVAC equipment.

• Ensuring all work is executed to a high standard and adheres to safety regulations.

• Traveling to various national sites, including the specified Belfast project.

• Annual Salary: Equivalent to around £40,500 per year.

• Working Hours: A standard 40-45 hour work week, structured as 9-hour days.

• Paid Travel Time: You are paid from the moment you leave home to travel to a work site.

• Overtime: Paid at time and a half for any hours worked beyond the standard 9-hour day.

• Travel Allowance: A nightly allowance of £27.50 is provided when working away.

• A company van is provided for work purposes.

• Accommodation will be provided for the travel associated with the Belfast contract.

• The role will include on-call duties (specific details to be confirmed).

• Experience: Must have proven experience working as an HVAC Engineer.

• Qualifications: Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

• Clearance & Background:

  • Must be able to obtain a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.

  • Must provide a history of continuous employment; any gaps in employment must be explainable.
