Mobile Plant Engineer

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Mobile Plant Engineer to join an established plant machinery business based in Auchtermuchty.

Our client provides plant machinery maintenance, repair and hire services across Scotland, offering a brand new fully kitted service van and a varied field-based role for a fully qualified plant engineer.

Full-time permanent position
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Overtime and weekend work available
£17 to £19 per hour - dependent on experience
Brand new fully kitted service van providedAs a Mobile Plant Engineer, your duties will include:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, ATVs and small plant
Diagnosing faults using Jaltest and Texa diagnostic equipment
Working across 12v and 24v electrical systems
Delivering a high standard of customer service at client sites across Scotland
Maintaining accurate service records and documentationTo be considered as a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will need:

Time-served plant or agricultural engineering background with an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential
A minimum of 5 years' experience working on plant and equipment
Experience with Jaltest or Texa diagnostic equipment
A full UK driving licence and your own tools is essential
