Salary: £40,000 + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits

About the Role:
An established and well-regarded company in the environmental services and waste management sector is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Plant Fitter to join their maintenance team. This is a mobile role covering sites across South Yorkshire and surrounding regions, providing critical support for the servicing, repair, and upkeep of heavy mobile plant machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of mobile plant equipment including loading shovels, screeners, crushers, and excavators.

• Perform scheduled services and respond to breakdowns across multiple sites.

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, with a focus on minimal downtime.

• Complete all relevant documentation and service reports accurately.

• Maintain company standards and promote best practices in health & safety.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience as a mobile plant fitter or similar role (construction, waste, or aggregates industry preferred).

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical knowledge.

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable).

• Full UK driving licence.

• A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
