Mobile Plumber

Stride are immediately recruiting a Mobile Plumber to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and reactive repairs to commercial buildings across Central London between 18:00 and 06:00, on a 4 on 4 off basis.

Core Details:

- Rate of £33 per hour, Weekly pay CIS or PAYE.

- Full Time Mobile, 4 on 4 off with Van / Fuel card

- Immediate starts and secure ongoing contract work or Temp to Permenant positions.

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

To service and maintain building plumbing services in accordance with relevant standards, frequencies, and safe working practices. To respond to reactive breakdowns, carry out fault finding and any necessary repairs.

Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance tasks.

*

To have a ‘can do’ approach to your work ethos.

*

* Co-operation with contracts staff were necessary to achieve our employer’s acceptance in line with agreed contract terms.

* Produce all documentation as dictated by workload, i.e. Technical reports and reject reports for failures of components or plant.

* Responsible for own Health & Safety on site and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments as standard on all sites, highlighting specific requirements as required.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

* Full UK Driving License & Work Vehicle required.

Good all round technical ability and a working knowledge of a wide variety of plumbing systems required, knowledge of building maintenance preferred, but not essential.

Must be a Qualified or Time-Served NVQ 2 + Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

*

Previous Plumbing and Mechanical Commercial PPM experience required

*

Good communication skills, both written and oral.

*

The ability to multi-task and be methodical.

*

A pro-active approach to problem solving.
