Mobile Service Engineer

Are you an experienced Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Engineer or mechanic with experience working on commercial refrigeration, vehicle systems, or transport refrigeration equipment?

Our client is a well-established provider of transport refrigeration equipment is looking for an experienced Mobile Service Engineer to join their team.

This is a hands on role suited to an engineer who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites, and keeping equipment operating reliably. You will work on a range of vehicle powered refrigeration systems, carrying out preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installations and commissioning, while ensuring customers receive a professional and responsive service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, maintain, diagnose, and repair transport refrigeration systems

* Carry out installations, commissioning, and preventative maintenance

* Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and refrigeration faults

* Maintain accurate job records and complete relevant paperwork using PDA systems

* Manage van stock, tools and equipment effectively

Who They’re Looking For:

* F Gas 2079 and refrigerant handling qualifications – desirable

* Experience with electrical systems, including three phase

* Mechanical experience with engines, compressors, and hydraulics

* Refrigeration fault finding and diagnostic experience - desirable

* Full UK driving licence

* Participation in an on call rota, including nights and weekends
