Mobile Service Technician - Crawley

Our client is an internationally renowned supplier and installer of hydraulic hoses.

Concentrating on the industrial sector of HGV vehicles, building and plant machinery, forklifts and lifting platforms, their local depot will supply, go to client sites (or on the road if broken down) and repair/replace the required hydraulic hose and ancillary items to get the equipment operational again.

Due to recent successes, they are looking to amply an addition to their team of Mechanical Service and Sales Technicians.

As well as having an understanding and an interest in engineering or mechanics (you may just do your own car servicing or enjoy taking things apart and putting them back together) or being an auto technician, you will also need to have a desire to enhance your income by promoting and selling the company's range of products and services.

Either discussing with a client that you have been called out to and repaired their vehicles and finding out what other equipment may have and who they use for such services, to calling in on sites to establish who is the contact to supply this service to all of their plant machinery etc.

You will be:

Have an affinity to mechanical or technical applications
Have a desire to succeed and enhance your income with positive, proactive mindset.
Be capable of learning new skills (full training will be provided)
Have a good commercial mindset and recognise new sales opportunities.

You must be locally based (within 30 minutes of Gatwick Airport, have a full, clean driving license and have drive and desire to learn new engineering skills and earn a solid wage (minimum £25,0000 basic salary and open ended commission).
