Mobile Tyre Technician

Our client, one of the UK’s fastest-growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently looking for a Mobile Tyre Technician based at their retail centre in Bristol, Nailsea.

As a Mobile Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out accurate tyre fitting and repairs, as well as supporting with a range of fast-fit mechanical work, including brakes, exhausts and basic servicing.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tyre Technician looking for a long-term career with excellent training and progression opportunities.

Location: Nailsea, Bristol

Pay / salary: Starting from £30,000 - £32,000 

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Mobile Tyre Technician Responsibilities:

Carrying out accurate tyre fitting, replacements and puncture repairs

Attending roadside breakdowns and providing mobile tyre assistance

Carrying out tyre fitting and repairs at customers' homes, workplaces and business premises

Working on commercial vehicles and heavy fleet vehicles

Completing scheduled fleet inspections and tyre safety checks

Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with risk assessments

Maintaining equipment, tools and the mobile service vehicle to a high standard

Providing excellent customer service while representing the company

Maintaining accurate documentation and job records in line with company procedures

Working independently and efficiently to complete jobs to a high standard

Following all company health and safety procedures

To be a Mobile Tyre Technician you will need:

Valid UK driving licence held for at least 6 months – Essential
NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent. Level 2 qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, HGV, LCV or PSV Vehicle Maintenance and Repair will also be considered
At least 1 year of experience working as a Tyre Technician
A passion for the Automotive industry and a desire to learn and develop further
