Job Description - Mobile Water Treatment Technician
Mobile Water Treatment Technician Location: Central Belt, Scotland (covering Glasgow to Edinburgh) Hours: Full-time, permanent â€" 40 hours per week We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Water Treatment Technician to deliver water hygiene and treatment services across sites throughout the Central Belt. The Role You will be responsible for completing planned and remedial water hygiene works, maintaining accurate compliance records, and building positive relationships with clients and site teams. Key Responsibilities Deliver water hygiene and water treatment services across a mobile portfolio. Carry out temperature monitoring, showerhead descales, water sampling, TMV servicing, and cold-water storage tank inspections and cleans. Complete cooling tower cleans and disinfections. Ensure site L8 logbooks are accurate, up to date, and compliant. Complete work reports promptly using day-work sheets or the relevant job-management system. Carry out quoted remedial works as required. Complete PPM visits using the appropriate tools and systems. Work closely with technical teams, schedulers, contract administrators, and clients to ensure an efficient service. Requirements Relevant water hygiene or water treatment qualifications and/or practical experience. Legionella Awareness training. Working knowledge of regulations and guidance including L8 ACOP, HSG274, water regulations/byelaws, and relevant industry guidance. Knowledge of water hygiene service delivery requirements, including HSG274 Part 2, Table 2.1. Full UK driving licence. Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check, including Barred Lists check.
