Position: Molecular Biology Experts
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$120/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 2–3 weeks
Commitment: 20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design and review DNA/RNA sequences and constructs, including primers, plasmids, RNAs, and repair templates.
• Author challenging, domain-grounded tasks and write accurate, well-documented solutions as ground truth.
• Evaluate AI model outputs against expert-quality solutions and provide clear, written feedback on correctness, rigor, and reasoning.
• Collaborate with other subject-matter experts to maintain consistency and accuracy in training data.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Practicing or recently practicing molecular biologist with hands-on experience designing nucleic-acid sequences.
• Strong peer-reviewed publication record in venues such as Nature, bioRxiv, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press, and eLife.
• PhD strongly preferred in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, synthetic biology, bioengineering, or a related life-science field.
• Strong written communication and ability to justify design choices clearly.
