Monitoring Engineer

I'm working on a Monitoring Engineer contract opportunity that I thought might be relevant to your background.
The role is fully remote, with occasional travel to the office 1-2 days per month, and offers up to £580 per day (Inside IR35), 6 months rolling contract.

We're looking for someone with strong observability and monitoring experience across technologies such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, APM, and SRE practices. A key requirement is holding a Dynatrace Associate Certification.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement monitoring and observability solutions.
Configure and support Dynatrace, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and visualisations.
Deliver APM, infrastructure, synthetic, and log monitoring solutions.
Support live services, incidents, and problem resolution.
Analyse performance issues and perform root cause analysis.
Work with architects and project teams to embed monitoring into new solutions.
Drive SRE and observability best practices.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and document solutions.
Support continuous improvement and monitoring tool optimisation.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
