Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing mortgage brokerage, providing essential administrative support to a team of experienced mortgage advisors. You will play a key role in ensuring mortgage applications progress smoothly from initial submission through to completion, helping to deliver a high standard of customer service.

The role would suit an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast environment and is keen to build a long term career within financial services. Previous experience is preferred but not essential, with ongoing support, professional development and opportunities for career progression available.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing daily administrative support to mortgage advisors


• Case management and submitting applications


• Assisting with entire mortgage application process, from submission through to completion


• Preparing, processing and managing client documentation, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date


• Liaising with mortgage lenders, clients, solicitors and other third parties to obtain information and progress applications


• Monitoring application progress and providing timely updates to advisors and clients


• Ensuring all documentation and processes meet internal compliance standards and industry regulations


• Managing and prioritising workloads effectively to meet deadlines and maintain efficient processes


• Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as required


• Delivering a professional, friendly and efficient service to clients

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously


• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast environment


• A genuine interest in financial services and a desire to develop a long term career in the mortgage industry


• Previous experience in mortgage administration or financial services would be advantageous but is not essential


• Willingness to undertake relevant industry qualifications and further professional development


• Experience with protection admin would be looked on favourably!

Package and Benefits

• Salary: £30,000


• Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm - no weekends
