Mortgage Adviser - Tamworth (Office-Based)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (competitive basic plus monthly bonus)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (10-minute lunch)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Holidays: 21 days plus bank holidays and Christmas shutdown

About the Role:
We are recruiting on behalf of a respected client in Tamworth who is looking for a confident and experienced Mortgage Adviser to join their busy and friendly office team. This full-time, office-based role offers a competitive salary with an attractive bonus structure, working within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing expert advice on residential mortgages and regulated bridging finance

• Managing inbound leads and converting them into mortgage applications

• Assessing client financial positions and recommending suitable mortgage products

• Managing cases from enquiry to completion

• Building strong relationships with clients, introducers, and internal colleagues

• Staying up to date with market developments and compliance requirements

• Delivering excellent customer service and positive client outcomes

Person Specification:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mortgage Adviser (essential)

• CeMAP qualified (essential); DipMAP or CeRER desirable

• Experience with residential and regulated bridging finance

• Knowledge of buy-to-let or commercial mortgages advantageous

• Strong communication and objection-handling skills

• Comfortable with mortgage sourcing systems and financial technology

• Positive, proactive, and highly organised
