Must have’s

* CeMAP qualified (or equivalent recognised mortgage qualification)

* Previous experience as a Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage & Protection Advisor

* Strong knowledge of residential mortgages and the home-buying process

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

* Consultative approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service

* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

* Ability to manage a busy workload and meet targets

* Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements

Nice to have’s

* Experience working within an estate agency

* Experience advising on protection products

* Proven track record of achieving sales targets

* Knowledge of a wide range of mortgage lenders and products

So, what will you be doing?

* Providing tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients

* Conducting detailed fact-finds and affordability assessments

* Recommending suitable mortgage and protection products

* Managing mortgage applications from enquiry through to completion

* Building strong relationships with estate agency colleagues to maximise referrals

* Liaising with lenders, solicitors, surveyors and other stakeholders

* Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

* Ensuring all advice meets FCA and internal compliance standards

* Achieving sales, service and compliance targets

* Keeping up to date with mortgage products, lender criteria and industry developments

* Delivering an exceptional customer experience that generates repeat business and referrals
