Job Title: Mortgage & Protection Adviser

Location: Manchester 1-2 days WFH

Salary: Up to £35,000 basic with an OTE of £70,000 plus benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5.30 pm

About the position of Mortgage & Protection Adviser:

We're looking for an experienced Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join a high-performing team in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your financial services expertise in a role where you'll guide clients through the mortgage process, offering expert, tailored advice that helps them make informed decisions. Ideally CeMAP qualified with CAS status, you'll bring a proven track record in a similar role, along with a passion for delivering outstanding service. We offer a competitive basic salary of up to £35,000, with uncapped OTE potential of £70,000+, and while the role is primarily office-based Monday to Friday, there is flexibility for some hybrid working.

Responsibilities required for the role of Mortgage & Protection Adviser:

• Working closely with a busy estate agent, dealing with pre-qualified mortgage leads
• Assess clients' financial situations to identify suitable mortgage options
• Provide expert advice on "whole of market" mortgage products
• Providing tailored protection advice including life, critical illness, and income protection
• Liaising with lenders to facilitate/expedite the approval process, offering regular updates to clients
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and recommendations
• Working closely with our in-house financial advisor, offering an additional service to clients if required
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and changes in mortgage regulations
• Working with attention to detail, maintaining high compliance standards under FCA guidelines

Experience required for the role of Mortgage & Protection Adviser:

• Proven track record within a similar role
• CeMap qualified, ideally with CAS status
• Results driven, able to find solutions
• Customer focused, with excellent communication skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Pro-active and motivated approach
