Mortgage Broker

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mortgage Broker for our Estate Agency client based in Cheshunt.

The ideal candidate must have up to date knowledge in the current market and law, to deal with leads from staff across 2 branches.

Candidates must be a UK Resident and ideally live within a 30-minute commute of the area.

Salary and benefits package for the role of Mortgage Broker:

• Basic £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE & Qualifications)
• OTE £50,000 +
• Commission Structure
  • 12% up to £80k banked
  • 18% £80k - £130k
  • 25% of anything after
• Monday to Friday 8.45am - 6pm
• 5 day working week

Responsibilities for the role of Mortgagr Broker:

• 50+ leads each month
• Access to a high number of potential clients
• Keeping up to date with the current market and law
• Work closely with clients
• Meeting sales targets
• Developing new prospects
• Enhancing business relationships
• Applying your expert knowledge of the industry

Key Skills for the role of Mortgage Broker:

• 1 years + experience as a Mortgage Broker
• Be fully CeMAP qualified/have CAS status
• Experience dealing with life insurance
• Experience underwriting mortgages and life protection
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an energetic personality
• Well spoken with superb communication skills
• Smart and well presented
• Ambitious and self-motivated
• Able to thrive under pressure
