MOT Technician

Our client, a reputable fast-fit centre in Newark, is seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join their expanding team.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled MOT Technician to work within a busy, customer-focused environment, delivering quality MOT testing, servicing, and repairs.

Conduct MOT tests in strict accordance with DVSA standards as an MOT Technician
Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on various vehicles
Diagnose faults accurately
Advise customers professionally on repairs and vehicle conditions
Maintain detailed job records and workshop documentation
Deliver excellent customer service as an MOT Technician
Work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment
Assist the team in achieving workshop targets related to MOT testing and repairs as an MOT TechnicianRequirements:

Valid Class 4/7 MOT Tester licence
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive servicing and MOT testing
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills suitable for an MOT Technician
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and within a team as an MOT Technician
