Job Description - MOT Tester

MOT Tester required for our Client’s busy multi-franchise main dealer, located in Chichester.

The salary of this role is up to £32,000 basic with OTE of £36,000.

MOT Testers play a huge role in our Client’s company and they play a huge role in keeping our roads safe!

Monday to Friday: 07:30 - 16:30; 1 in 5 08:00 - 13:00 Saturdays

Requirements:

Hold a valid MOT Licence
Have previous working experience within the role
A Full UK Driving Licence
Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities:

The ability to communicate with customers effectively
Minimum of a Level 2 or a Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance, or equivalent.
A sound Mechanical knowledge
Carrying out MOT Failure rectification work as and when required
Conducting 8/9 MOTs a day – keeping you busy, and your skills sharp.
Ensuring VOSA standards are met at all times.
Managing the MOT Juice Software – ensuring all data collected, is accurate and up to date.
