About the role

Venatu Automotive are seeking an experienced Contracting Vehicle Technician (and / or MOT Tester) to join our contracting team, supporting a range of dealerships, independent garages, and fast-fit workshops across the West Midlands. We offer ongoing contractual placements with consistent work opportunities. This is a great opportunity for skilled automotive professionals looking for flexible, ongoing contract work within a busy and varied workshop environment.

Candidates must have:

Their own tools and transport
The ability to work across a variety of vehicle brands
Experience carrying out servicing, vehicle preparation, maintenance, and repairs

Key responsibilities

Inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure reliability and roadworthiness.
Completing job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork accurately and clearly.
Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
Supporting general workshop duties as required to assist the wider team.

Skills and experience required

Level 3 Qualification or above in Vehicle Maintenance service and Repair or equivalent.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Proven experience working as a service & repair technician in a workshop environment.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
