Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Company Overview:

Our client is a well established independent garage, part of a small group of expanding companies. They are looking for an experienced car mechanic or motor vehicle technician to join their very busy Reading site team, working on a wide range of cars across all vehicle brands.

Motor Vehicle Technician Role and Responsibilities:

* Mechanical diagnosis, service and repair of a wide variety of cars, light commercial vehicles and camper vans

* Preparation of vehicles for MOT testing

Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic Skills and Experience:

* You should be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician or MOT Tester

* You should hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification

* Desirable: current MOT tester license

* Proven experience servicing and repairing cars and / or other motor vehicles, whether in an independent garage or main dealer

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting
