We’re on the lookout for a Motorcycle Service and Preparation Technician to join our fast-growing and passionate team at MotoMine Projects in Yateley, Hampshire. The Motorcycle Service and Preparation technician plays a vital role in ensuring motorcycles are assessed, serviced, and prepared to the highest standards prior to sale or further repair.  If you love motorcycles, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in high-quality results—this is your next big move!

Main Duties:

• Get motorcycles prepped and ready for assessment, photography and sale.


• Carry out visual and mechanical checks as bikes arrive on-site.


• Handle basic servicing: oil and filter changes, spark plugs, battery tests, chain adjustments, and more.


• Test key systems like lights, horn, and indicators.


• Keep bikes safely stored and easily accessible.


• Assist in unloading/loading motorcycles and preparing bikes for customer collection.


• Create highlight reports to identify potential parts for repairs.


• Support bike photography so each listing shines.


• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safety-first workspace.

Key Skills:

• Solid customer service and professional attitude.


• Basic mechanical knowledge of motorcycles.


• Hands-on experience with tools and diagnostic kit.


• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.


• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and simple data entry.


• Confident working independently or with a tight-knit workshop crew.

Bonus Points For:

• Previous experience in a bike workshop or similar role.


• Motorcycle license.


• NVQ/BTEC or other qualifications in motorcycle or automotive engineering.


• Familiarity with Proclaim or claims processes.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time


• Location: Yateley, Hampshire


• Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
