We’re growing and looking for a proactive, detail-focused, and customer-focused individual to join our Engineering team as a Motorcycle Settlement Handler.

Your Role

As a Motorcycle Settlement Handler, you’ll be responsible for managing and settling motorcycle claims following hand-off from our CVU and Triage teams. You’ll ensure claims are handled efficiently, compliantly, and in line with service level agreements, authority levels, and customer-specific processes. You’ll play an important role in delivering a smooth and supportive settlement journey for customers while working closely with colleagues across the business.

What You’ll Do

🔹 Claims Management: Handle motorcycle claims from settlement through to resolution
🔹 Customer Communication: Respond professionally to calls, emails, and correspondence
🔹 Decision Making: Assess claims and support fair settlement outcomes within authority levels
🔹 Data & Systems: Accurately capture and maintain claim information within internal systems
🔹 Regulatory Compliance: Ensure claims are handled in line with FCA regulations and company procedures
🔹 Problem Solving: Resolve claim queries and support positive customer outcomes
🔹 Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, engineers, insurers, and brokers
🔹 Continuous Improvement: Support process improvements and share updates in claims legislation

What We’re Looking For

✅ Vehicle Assessment Experience – Ideally within the insurance repair industry
✅ Claims Knowledge – Good understanding of claims handling processes and procedures
✅ Analytical Skills – Comfortable interpreting data and identifying trends
✅ Communication Skills – Able to communicate clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders
✅ IT Literate – Comfortable working across multiple systems and technologies
✅ Organisational Skills – Able to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks

✅ Positive Attitude – Proactive, supportive, and team-oriented approach

Desirable: Experience within motorcycle claims, insurance settlements, engineering, or financial services
