MRP System Manager

My client, an Engineering company based in Pershore, is looking to recruit an MRP System Manger on a Permanent basis.

Having just awarded new and long-term contracts, the company is looking to grow its Management team to help support its expansion plans.

The main focus of the role will be to work closely with the Procurement and Production teams, implementing the MRP system throughout the manufacturing process and product portfolio.

The main responsibilities associated with the role include

- Utilize SAGE 200 and MRP software to track stock levels, monitor production progress and generate financial reports
- Daily management of MRP system
- Monitor inventory to ensue stock levels are maintained
- Work alongside Production, Procurement and engineering teams to ensure BOM's are created as required
- Analyze Production Costs
- Work closely with finance team to develop cost-effective strategies
- Act as Project Lead for any MRP improvements or enhancements

As a suitable candidate you will offer the following

- Ideally hold Qualification in MRP/ERP systems or qualified by experience
- Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems with in-depth knowledge of BOM structures
- Experience of ERP/MRP systems such as SAGE 200 or Sicon
- Experience in fast-paced Engineering/Manufacturing environments
- Commercially astute
- Strong IT skills
- Good knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles
- Project Management experience

This salary on offer for this position is up to £50,000
