Pay: £130 to £160 per day (higher rates available for long term roles depending on experience and responsibilities)

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming primary schools across Southport that are seeking enthusiastic teachers to support across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Opportunities are available for both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Creating a positive and supportive classroom environment
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maximise learning
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and school leadership teams
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Supporting pupils to achieve both academically and personally

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passionate about inspiring children to succeed
• Flexible, reliable and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
