MSG47 Operative

We are currently seeking an experienced HSG47 Operative to join our client on a National Grid project.

Requirements:

* Valid National Grid Person ticket (essential)

* Valid HSG47 qualification and experience in safe excavation practices

* Competent in the use of CAT & Genny equipment to locate underground services

* Previous experience working on civil engineering, utilities, or National Grid projects

* Good understanding of site health & safety procedures

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Duties:

* Carry out underground utility detection using CAT & Genny in accordance with HSG47 guidance

* Identify, mark, and protect buried services prior to excavation works

* Assist in ensuring all excavations are carried out safely and in compliance with National Grid procedures

* Complete required documentation and report any discrepancies or hazards

* Follow site instructions and National Grid safety standards

* Assist with general site duties when required
