Multidrop Delivery Driver / Stores Person
Our prestigious client, based in Bacup, is an industry leader in the manufacture of specialist trailers for the aviation industry. Due to continued growth, they are urgently looking to recruit an experienced Multidrop Delivery Driver / Stores Person to join their expanding team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced delivery driver with warehouse/stores experience looking for a long-term position with a well-established and growing company.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
*
Stock replenishment and maintaining stock levels
*
Stock taking and inventory control
*
Ordering and sourcing various parts
*
General stores and warehouse duties
*
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
*
Loading the delivery van safely and efficiently
*
Carrying out local deliveries and collections within approximately a 15-mile radius
*
Driving a Ford Transit van for local multidrop deliveries
*
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
*
A full, clean UK driving licence
*
Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally in a multidrop environment
*
Previous experience working within a warehouse, stores or stock-control environment
*
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
*
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday – 4 days per week
6:00am – 5:00pm
Pay Rate
£13.47 – £15.09 per hour, plus overtime.
There is also the potential for a pay review after 13 weeks, subject to performance.
