Working Hours: Zero Hour Contract

Full time hours will be available, you must be able to work the following shift pattern: 4 on 4 off - 12 hour shifts -
Days (7:00 -19:00) & Nights (19:00 -7:00)

Pay: Â£12.71 per hour

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services,
for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team at Cammell Laird in Birkenhead. Due to an incoming vessel arriving on site, we are recruiting a team of Multi‑Site Security Officers to support our security operations by monitoring access, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring the vessel remains safe and secure at all times.

You will be required to provide a high level of customer
service to visitors to the site, complete patrols and remain vigilant at all
times.  You will need to be flexible and
ready to provide cover for various sites as needed, having the initiative to
adapt to new sites and their individual requirements.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a
minimum. You must be able to reliably commute to Cammell Laird, Birkenhead (CH41 9BP), to work day shifts (7:00 -19:00) and night shifts (19:00 -7:00).

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets by
  providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published
  Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and site -specific procedures
  
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities;
  informing offenders of policy and procedures
  
• Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate and
  appropriate manner to the Control Room/Shift Manager/Operations
  Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
  
• Completing reports by recording observations, information,
  occurrences, and surveillance activities
  
• Maintaining organisation's stability and reputation by
  complying with legal requirements
  
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results
  as needed
  
• Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to
  site, providing a professional and friendly service
  
• Understanding the needs of our customer, respond accordingly
  to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
  
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times
  

• Full
  5 -year employment checkable history
  
• Valid
  frontline SIA licence DS or SG
  
• Customer
  Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct
  manner
  
• Flexible
  to meet the job requirements
  
• Excellent
  communication skills both written and verbal
  
• Smart
  appearance and be well -groomed
  
• Reliable
  and punctual
  
• High
