SHIFT ENGINEER – MULTI-SKILLED

£53- 55k | 4 on / 4 off | 12-hour shifts 

Are you a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer who thrives on solving problems and keeping production moving?

We’re looking for a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team, providing first-class mechanical and electrical engineering support across PET extrusion, thermoforming and manufacturing equipment.

What you’ll be doing:

Diagnose and repair mechanical & electrical breakdowns
⚡ Fault-find across motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics & controls
️ Complete planned and reactive maintenance
Carry out root cause analysis and eliminate repeat failures
Support start-ups, changeovers, upgrades and new equipment
Drive reliability, TPM and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:

Multi-skilled engineering experience with strong mechanical & electrical skills
Manufacturing, FMCG, plastics, packaging or process industry experience
Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
HNC, apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification
PLC, PET extrusion or thermoforming experience is highly desirable
