Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Permanent Nights

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum

Hours: Sunday to Thursday, Permanent Nights

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced team on permanent night shifts. Based in Milton Keynes, this is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a growing business with a strong commitment to engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

The Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our production equipment through both planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
  
• Conducting preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
  
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and complies with company and legal standards
  
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to equipment upgrades and installations
  
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance work using the company's CMMS
  

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment
  
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  
• Ability to work independently on night shifts and respond effectively to breakdowns
  
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
