Multi-Skilled Engineer - Multi-Site Role

We’re working with a well-established client who’s looking to bring on a Multi-Skilled Engineer to support their commercial office sites. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s hands-on, technically confident, and experienced in maintaining and repairing electrical systems across multiple locations.

You'll play a key role in keeping office environments running smoothly, handling everything from routine maintenance to reactive repairs. While this is a multi-site position, it’s primarily based on one site.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out regular maintenance checks to make sure everything is safe and operating as it should.
• Handling repairs on various types of electrical equipment e.g. fan units, water heaters, lighting, and sockets etc.
• Testing systems and making sure everything meets safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Quickly diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Following planned maintenance schedules to help prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Keeping clear records of the work you’ve done, and logging parts used or needed.
• Working closely with site management to flag any major issues and suggest solutions.
• Coordinating with specialist contractors when more technical input is needed.
• Sticking to all relevant health and safety procedures and company guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified electrician with a recognised certification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or similar).
• Solid experience in a similar role—ideally in commercial or multi-site environments.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems used in office buildings.
• Good at spotting issues, solving problems, and paying attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a professional, customer-focused attitude

This a 3 months fixed term contract with strong potential to go permanent.
