Shift - 4 on 4 off (4 days \ 4 nights) working

Our industrial manufacturing client area leading business supporting the Food industry, you’ll be part of a dedicated engineering team supporting planned preventative maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, installing and commissioning new machinery, and driving continuous improvement initiatives - all while ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Requirements

• A time-served apprenticeship or relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND)
• Previous maintenance engineering experience in manufacturing
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience with PLCs, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes is a bonus

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Responsibilities

• Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Responding rapidly to breakdowns and diagnosing faults
• Carry out fault finding and upgrades to Allen Bradley PLCs
• Working across mechanical and electrical systems (bias considered)
• Supporting machinery upgrades and new installations
• Keeping accurate maintenance logs
• Participating in root cause analysis and ongoing improvement projects
• Providing on-call support on a rotating basis
