Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a fresh challenge with a well-established manufacturer?

We're recruiting for a growing business based in Burton upon Trent that is looking to strengthen its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company that values reliability, continuous improvement and investing in its people.

The Role

As part of the engineering team, you'll play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery and site equipment.

You'll ideally be competent in at least three of the following:

* Mechanical

* Electrical

* Pneumatics

* Systems/Controls

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs.

* Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.

* Maintain production machinery and site services to minimise downtime.

* Use the site's CMMS to record maintenance activities.

* Support machinery installations, upgrades and improvement projects.

* Assist with commissioning new equipment.

* Work closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.

* Liaise with contractors and suppliers when required.

* Participate in a rotating out-of-hours call-out rota.

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.

About You

You'll have previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment and be confident fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems.

You'll also have:

* Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.

* Experience working with production machinery.

* Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance programmes.

* Experience using a CMMS (preferred).

* A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
