An exciting opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a well-established food and drink manufacturer in Somerset. Operating within a fast-paced production environment, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving a wide range of automated processing and packaging equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and production performance.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong electrical focus, combining reactive breakdown support, planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities. You'll be joining a business that continues to invest in both its engineering function and manufacturing facilities, offering long-term stability, excellent earning potential and genuine opportunities for development.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Engineer
Multi-Skilled Maintenance experience with a strong electrical bias. Engineering qualification (Level 3 or equivalent). Previous FMCG manufacturing experience.
Requirements of the Multi Skilled Engineer
Electrical fault finding. PLC fault finding. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). Reactive breakdown maintenance. Inverters, motors and sensors. Reading electrical drawings. Continuous Improvement. Production machinery maintenance. Health & Safety awareness.
Desirable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Engineer
Food or drink manufacturing experience. High-speed production line experience. Mechanical fault-finding experience. Electrical installation or commissioning experience.
