Multi Skilled Gas Engineer

We are looking for an Multi Skilled Gas Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Multi Skilled Gas Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

As the Multi Skilled Gas Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Multi Skilled Gas Engineer, will be responsible for:

* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical and fabric services.

* Undertake fault finding, diagnosis and repair of gas and mechanical systems to ensure continuous service delivery.

* Respond to breakdowns and support the on-call function when required.

* Complete statutory inspections, compliance checks and maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements.

* Carry out plumbing and gas-related tasks, including repairs to toilets, showers, sinks and associated systems, while maintaining high health and safety standards.

To be successful for this Multi Skilled Gas Engineer role you must have:

* Hold Gas/Plumbing trade qualifications or certifications.

* Industry exposure within Science or Research Centres.

* Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements relating to gas and building services maintenance.

* Full UK Driving Licence.

* Previous experience in a Gas Engineer or Building Services Engineer role within a facilities management or maintenance environment.

* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues.

* Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and business needs.

* Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications and CAFM systems.
