Job Description - Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician

We now have an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Electrician to join our highly regarded NHS repairs and maintenance team based in Bristol. This is a mobile role where you will be maintaining a number of healthcare sites/hospitals.
Our maintenance business provides a range of expert planned and responsive maintenance services to domestic properties and commercial buildings in the social housing, health and social care sectors. We look after a growing number of healthcare buildings for NHS Trusts, residential homes and educational facilities. Using the latest technology we ensure properties are well maintained, efficient and fit for purpose.
Job Purpose
Our NHS maintenance healthcare team in Bristol provides a planned, preventative and reactive maintenance service for a large NHS trust. To enable us to continue to deliver an excellent quality service, we are looking for a multi skilled maintenance electrician to join the team.
This is a varied role will involve providing repairs (responsive and planned) with a particular emphasis on electrical maintenance and repairs but the role will also involve other general maintenance works. You will be working in a mobile role maintaining a number of healthcare sites so a full UK driving licence is required.

Full time hours and a permanent position. Normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. You will also participate in an on call rota for emergency repairs where you will receive a standby allowance and overtime paid at time and a half or double time depending on day/time of call out.

This is a full time permanent position and working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. You will also provide out of hours call out cover on a rota basis for emergency and make safe repairs. You will receive a standby allowance and overtime per call for providing cover.

Experience Required
The successful candidate will hold 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification and have previous relevant experience in the maintenance of buildings. Your planned/reactive maintenance experience will ideally have been gained within an NHS environment, though candidates with maintenance experience gained within a commercial/education environment (such as hotels, supermarkets, schools etc) will also be considered.
You will have excellent customer service skills and be passionate about providing high quality repairs/planned maintenance.
