Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Annual Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
• Location: Maidstone
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent - Alternating 2-week shift

Join a family-owned food & beverage business as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with the Production team, taking responsibility for all aspects of mechanical and electrical machinery maintenance. We are looking for reliable, highly skilled candidates who can maintain high standards within a team environment.

• Maintain, repair, and improve the performance of various mechanical equipment and systems within the facility.
• Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Install, test, and commission new or upgraded mechanical equipment and systems including rollers, chains, belts, pneumatics, hydraulics, electric motors, sensors, contactors, and relays.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers, technicians, operators, and contractors to ensure efficient operations.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Valid certification or license in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, theories, and practices.
• Proficient skills in using various tools and equipment for mechanical maintenance.
