Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

What You Will Do:

- Perform electrical and mechanical breakdown repairs across the site to ensure smooth operations.

- Conduct health and safety checks and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with legislation.

- Collaborate with the production team to schedule and carry out planned maintenance and repairs.

- Maintain and improve site utility services, identifying energy-saving opportunities and implementing continuous improvements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve processing problems, ensuring quality standards are met and recommending process improvements where necessary.

- Support training initiatives and assist operatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.

What You Will Bring:

- Apprentice-trained expertise in electrical or mechanical disciplines.

- Proven experience in fault-finding and repairing gearboxes, drives, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

- A strong background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the ability to work as part of a team.

- Proficiency in understanding technical drawings and working with PLC and SCADA systems.

- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
