Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. The role is offered as a permanent full-time position working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday.

Salary: up to £54,000 pa inc 20% shift allowance

Hours: 37.5 hours pw, Monday to Friday

Week 1 - 5.50am to 2pm, Monday to Friday

Week 2 - 1.50pm to 10pm, Monday to Thursday

8.30pm finish Friday

(There may be requirement to work overtime and nights with prior notice)

Location: Dartford

Working as part of the maintenance team the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will carry out routine and preventative maintenance duties - fault finding, repairs on plant machinery/equipment and building services.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer skills:

• Qualified e.g. C&G or similar (Level III) qualification or above, ideally time served
• Previous experience of maintenance within manufacturing environment - food or pharma or similar (FMCG)
• Use of computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Lean / Quick Kaizens
• fault finding, planned and preventative maintenance
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office.
• Skilled in problem solving and innovation.
• Flexible to work around team requirements,
• Physically fit, no fears of heights, confined spaces.

Desirable skills/experience:

• Lean qualification/trained
• Machining experience - milling/turning
• TIG welding
• GMP experience
• AutoCAD
